The following are a selection of reports made to Lake Forest College's Public Safety office during the 2008-2009 academic year.

On September 26th at 10:11 a.m., Public Safety reported to Reid Hall on Middle Campus, where a student called reported a musical instrument missing. The case is under investigation.

On Nov. 8 at 1:12 a.m., Public Safety was called to a suite in Deerpath Hall on North Campus to investigate a report of an overflowing toilet. Upon arriving, the officer discovered water covering the floor of the water closet. After a plunger was used, he discovered that the toilet was clogged with toilet paper. The occupants of the suite were advised to use less toilet paper in the future to avoid a repeat of the situation.

On Nov. 18 at 9:37 a.m., Public Safety reported to the Donnelley and Lee Library on Middle Campus where an instance of shoplifting took place. The items stolen were were multiple Sunday newspapers; The total cost was estimated at $10.

On Feb. 8 at 4:29 a.m., police were called by Lake Forest College security to assist with an intoxicated female who was running around campus in her underwear. Police and college security met with the subject, identified as a 20-year old junior. She indicated she had just returned from drinking at an out of town bar. Due to her condition, she was transported to the hospital for treatment. Her court date is Apr. 1 in Park City, Ill.

On Feb. 22 at 4:45 p.m., Public Safety was informed of a theft in Deerpath Hall on North Campus. A mattress was taken from a hallway. The case was closed pending additional information.
