Last Friday, Nov. 21, the Smashing Pumpkins played the first of two shows at the Auditorium Theater. Tickets sold out almost immediately after they became available. But what should have been a resounding homecoming in the Windy City turned into booing from fans waiting for Smashing Pumpkin hits that never came.
